The number of democratic responses to Trump that are "he's doing some thing bad and *he's doing it poorly*" drive me nuts. We certainly don't want him doing it better!

There are already judges that just "don't grant" motions that would be ordinary in any other court. This lawlessness gives more of a green light for that kind of behavior in all cases, and no lawyer should just tell themselves everything is okay if you don't work on "hot button cases"

It matters that a"sliver" of the judicial system is now lawless and despotic. The judges issuing or upholding these sliver of rulings are also the ones ruling on family court cases or criminal cases or personal injury cases or mergers or whatever it is. The sliver of lawlessness infects everything

Dunking on a large language model for not counting letters correctly just shows you don't understand the technology.

There are a lot of legitimate objections to AI but this isn't one of them.

Biggest tech pet peeve: when a screen loads, pauses, and then loads a new element and things shift. Often, I clicked on the thing I needed just as the new thing loaded and now I've clicked on the wrong thing.

I keep saying AI can be a tool for some use cases but the complete blind reliance is just fucking nuts. And anthropomorphizing of a text generator is also nuts. It didn't "lie", it doesn't "know" not to do something. It generates text. Good lord.
