Here's a little behind-the-scenes glimpse of castle room templates that will be used in random castle generation. I'm preparing the smallest room styles first and going up from there.

A curious settlement that spawned a week ago: a single house, surrounded by a full set of city walls. Though it originated because of a bug I've since fixed, it's given me a design idea.

Finding the animal "Lighthorse", which looks like a lighthouse with legs, and a head made out of transparent cones of light. "Stands at the coastline to act as a beacon, however it has difficulty discerning a puddle from an ocean. said to be proud of its red stripes."

Inside the spaceship, the character Turbine, who is green and has buck teeth, is saying "They say if you love your job, you'll never work a day in your life. Seems I may be the only worker here."

Last week was my first week back at Stories from Danger's Den development after months on hold. I got watchtowers spawning into the worlds. These small structures have guards who give advice and directions. Sometimes they have an armory, too.

I tried using Git for an RPG Maker MV project once because it works great for most code projects. But Git was always giving me trouble about line breaks and counting files as changed when they were merely touched by RPG Maker. So I feel vindicated in pointing RPG Maker users to Subversion.

I use a Subversion repository on Assembla for my RPG Maker MZ project. It's what I started using with a previous group project, and it was a good fit for us because TortoiseSVN was pretty easy for the non-programmer team members to pick up and use.
