Not to be conspiratorial or anything, but Trump being at a highly public event and having Hegseth do all the work means there’s a nice fall guy when things go bad.

Make no mistake.
ICE has been flaunting their unlawful behaviors since the very beginning of this admin.
They WANTED a reaction from CA and other D states.
They want an excuse, they want death. All an excuse to take more freedoms away.

No figure that serves the public should be anonymous to the public.
There is no need for a shadowy government body to be used as the president’s personal militia.

“The bosom of America is open to receive not only the opulent & respectable Stranger, but the oppressed & persecuted of all Nations & Religions; whom we shall welcome to a participation of all our rights & previleges, if by decency & propriety of conduct they appear to merit the enjoyment-Washington

When we really need to worry is when an ICE officer is killed. I’m sure they are just waiting for it to happen any second now.

And for what exactly, some ICE officers got their feelings hurt?

Should have thought of that before blackbagging innocent civilians with unmarked vehicles.

These people don’t care about America, they care for the husk of America’s power. They hold none of its ideals true, but despoil it for their own twisted gains.

America was founded on the consent of the governed and the right of free assocaition between peoples.

Not only is the use of the National Guard contrary to these ideals, but the entire idea that we need to limit people who believe in freedom, justice and liberty for all from coming to America.

Sending troops to quell minor unrest is a political play. They want to increase tensions. They want a crisis, then they can justify whatever they want.

The whole reason that the National Guard was called in the first place is that people were calling ICE names and trying to find out their identities?
Some snowflake stuff right there.

- Thompson could have been a reformer, someone aiming to make insurance better, we will never know what he would have done. He is dead

- The usage of Pinkertons to quell union protests became widespread and would persist for ~40 more years with the New Deal

- the assassination of business leaders/CEOs is very rare. The last attempt on a CEO I could find was Henry Frick, chairman of Carnegie Steel

Yeah, seems extremely likely the providers they are limiting are bad and should go out of business.

Sounds like there are a large number of providers that underperform the benchmark on a continuous basis. These businesses SHOULD close. If they are not committed to results, then they are offering expensive and substandard care.

Hello Hank. You probably won’t read this, but I’m with a group in Massachusetts that’s trying to implement a system where Civic participation is actively encouraged and forms the basis of government policy. We’re trying to fix division and create a forum for social ties to be formed.

Hello everyone, I’m working on an article about how statistics are misused in public discourse today (and have been for a long time). Just wanted to see if anyone had some suggestions of bad polling questions to look at, news articles, or any sort of historical misuse (think phrenology)?

A man stands up at a town meeting and says “we need rent control!”
An economist interrupts, “Forget controlling them, we should eliminate rents!”

I have to vehemently disagree. AI has been used to a great degree in identifying many medical conditions as higher rates than doctors. AI could do the same for mental health and provide opportunities to the poor to identify mental illnesses.

Everyone has this South Korea situation all wrong. Toon is obviously just trying to get the world record for lowest approval rating for the next Ripley’s Believe It or Not!.
