The Austin #gameaudio meetup was a big success tonight!
We all brought props and did a big shootout between ultrasonic mics.
Also presented my fresh talk "Beyond Audible" which is a primer all about ultrasonic recording.
Plan to post results to YT in the future. 🎙️

It was randomly Christmas today and I’m here for it

You know starting out I didn’t think about it too much but now it’s really everything I think about haha. Yes, lots of sounds in context can “work” but the extra effort into the direction and development of the style can take a game to the next level.

Really cool to see the perspective from a non-sound designer. They nailed it on the head. I appreciate all the Embark love too haha

This game made me bust out a pen and paper to take notes and it ended up really helping

It's a never ending evolution it seems from project to project. I'm only a year-ish in with Reaper and there's so much you can do/learn.
