I feel like my irises are constantly pinpricked, but that's mostly because light hurts my retina at all times, at nearly any intensity. But I still have 20/20 vision, so! ✨

I know my facial hair is still in Puberty stages, it is what it is, send oils and stabby rollies.

I was so angry to see so many businesses and people still trying to hang on, support, and beautify the area with murals, when an entire street with dilapidated apartment buildings was blocked off by concrete barriers. Guess what's on the other side of that street? Lake views.

I'm just saying, if it's THIS obvious to someone who has never been there to see that the interest for landlords of this area is to drive it into blight so that it can be knocked down and made into the next lakeside bougie attraction is sad. Evil is so simple.

We've seen some pretty bad roads around here, but the state of ROAD on the eastern-side of Euclid Ave. is a shame on the city leaders for not helping their people. I've never seen actual, dug-out construction holes abandoned and unmarked, you just hope you notice before you drive into a pipeline.

The hotel gave us free made-to-order breakfast because they assumed we were part of one of two conferences taking place there (Hola nice Redbull guy!!) and we asked for a bacon sandwich for our dogs.

Happy Birthday!! It sounds pretty great so far, but I hope it just keeps getting better!

I sculpted a ceramic vase to look like a tree trunk covered in pheasant-back mushrooms (with some hidden openings to slip flowers through). After we added $4 of mums and some backyard weeds, I'm pretty happy with it. 🌼🍄

A classic case of irresponsible both-sidesism from the NYT. The story is that Trump and MAGA propagandists are lying about Portland to incite a conflict, not that there are different views of the matter.

A bare tree with many branches and a few gold leaves scattered around it and its base. Depending on how you wish to think of it, either the roots appear visible without any ground or the upper half of the tree is reflected in unseen water. The background is a streaky haze of browns, golds, and copper.

A painting I made years ago that reminds me of this time of year. Is there no ground at all or just a lonely tree in the water? I guess you can decide. 🪾
