are we really so afraid of students’ free speech? what’s next?

in light of dei bans, assault on free speech, and limitations of protest, this certainly doesn’t feel supportive of students. (and as a former student org treasurer, I can tell you that chalking was the cheapest way to prove you were promoting an event in order to secure funding from the university)

if you ever attended osu, you’ll know that chalking has long been a common way for students to communicate with each other, whether to say “good luck with finals week” or to promote a student org event or to express protest. the timing of this is suspicious

FBI Director Kash Patel @FBIDirectorKash Just NOW, the FBI arrested Judge Hannah Dugan out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin on charges of obstruction — after evidence of Judge Dugan obstructing an immigration arrest operation last week. We believe Judge Dugan intentionally misdirected federal agents away from the subject to be arrested in her courthouse, Eduardo Flores Ruiz, allowing the subject — an illegal alien — to evade arrest. Thankfully our agents chased down the perp on foot and he’s been in custody since, but the Judge’s obstruction created increased danger to the public. We will have more to share soon. They are arresting people on the streets, terminating their visas, and disappearing them for writing things they disagree with. This is where we are. Two months in. Right now. If you think they won’t begin coming after citizens soon, you are mistaken.

It’s really fascinating what happens when you remove diversity—white male incompetency is placed on full display and with no one to blame for their actions —so they just lie.

i feel like this is evidence for my view that people experience trump through a strong form of ironic detachment. they literally do not perceive him as real.
