Yeah it makes sense given how large language/reader base is. I think around here you could only buy PC Gamer Magazine but they were *expensive*. Some people just sold the Demo CDs for cheaper. Can't even imagine all the cool magazines in the US.

Released a 64x64 pixel game for a gamejam over 5 years ago. Decided to actually finish it over the holidays. It's called Sunless Isle: Keep Of The Mad Magus, and it's a 3D-esque roguelike with three classes in three little levels. Now it's actually quite fun to play!

Nice! I've been doing something similar in my off-time. An immediate-mode layout stuff mainly where the actual GUI is secondary once you have the boxes to render stuff into. It's fun, until you get to text stuff 🙀

Getting into more complicated components in my imgui Win 95 demo. Scrolling, then resizing and estimating the scrollbar size and position afterwards is going to be interesting..

Saving grace in this one is that it's scrolling lines, not pixels.

I’m reluctant to play my old games. The English is bad and the cringe is just too much 🫣😄

This was an entry to an AGI compo that ran on some forum just for fun. A pack of backgrounds and animations was given and you had to make game with those.

The only thing I was happy with was the "Chef, could you <look around>" input prefix. Don't remember anything else about the game tbh 😱
