Indonesia's Aceh province publicly canes two men for same-sex relationship Two young Indonesian men convicted of having a same-sex relationship were publicly caned on Thursday in Aceh province, prompting calls by Amnesty International for the government to put an end to the practice.

Absolutely no excuse for a place like Aceh to violate human rights in this way, and especially not for the political expediency of the national government. There are decent humans who live in Aceh, but the provincial government are not them. Do better Indonesia.

Surprisingly, the article does not mention that the virus has recently been found in pigs, which make an excellent incubator for creating a human-targeting mutation.
