There is a pretty good way to evaluate if a producer is good:

Are they offloading work from the team and making sure they can focus on the development..

..or are they making the team do work *for the producer*, e.g. filling out jiras, reporting work, following rituals and procedures.

I wrote a song once for my early 90s pop band called Simply ”Chow Yun-Fat” and the lyrics just listed all the cool stuff he does in those movies & Hard Boiled. Unfortunately it is lost. Not even a rehearsal tape remains.

I ordered the new 4k versions of The Killer & all three A Better Tomorrow movies, and it looks like they might arrive before the weekend. That would mane me very happy indeed.
