I've been saying it a lot, but these deaths line up with what happened in early concentration camps during other regimes: Deaths from poor conditions, disease, or abuse. These deaths are not accidental. They are the direct result of a camp system that is designed to harm those being imprisoned.

Wuthering Heights Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi are wearing beautiful outfits and surrounded by fog. The outfits are black and it looks like they are attending a funeral. 2.5 stars Full of huge swings that don't always hit. Daring and maximalist, but not successful.

I went to see "𝓦𝓾𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓗𝓮𝓲𝓰𝓱𝓽𝓼" which was fun and audacious, but ultimately doesn't sustain a complete and satisfying narrative. But 100% worth seeing on the biggest screen possible. Visually arresting and challenging.

Crime 101 Chris Hemsworth is in a suit with sunglasses looking down at a car with INTENSITY. 4.5 stars A well-crafted and whip-smart thriller in the tradition of Michael Mann. Good work from all the principals.

Amistad. 4.5 Stars.

I watched Amistad. It made me cry. I don't get the disdain for this film. Djimon Hounsou is phenomenal. Good moments for one of the 2.5 good presidents. #FilmSky #ECU

One thing that blew me away in this movie is the elaborate and propulsive use of oners. Just incredible blocking and cinematography throughout the entire movie.

European Union mandate for Intelligent Speed Assist (ISA) systems, which warn the driver and can limit vehicle speed, come into force this month. Manufacturers can choose from four different methods to warn drivers they're speeding, though the warnings are still easy to circumvent. Starting in 2022 all newly introduced car models in the EU have had Intelligent Speed Assist (ISA) installed, but now all new vehicles must feature them.

This is pretty different from the technology you've been suggesting fwiw, but that's fine. I agree that ISA should come in all new cars, though it does come with additional knock-on effects. (People push the car all the way to the limit when they normally wouldn't)

Today I went to see The Secret Agents at The Beverly Theater which was a really great time. It was my first time at The Bev, but I'll definitely be back. The movie was also great! And now I've completed all ten movies nominated for best picture in this year's Oscars.
