Nice catch! Yet another push to popularize Lumalee between the storybook, the movies and the new Mario Tennis that's got me wondering if Nintendo's building up to a big lore-related reveal. Like a reunion between Lubba and Mari in a new game or maybe lore based on Lubba's similarities to Limalee

The fact that their lore explanation for the new characters not being acknowledged in TotK was "it's too dangerous to acknowledge them" and it worked says a lot about how much Koei Tecmo cared about making a good story

DKC Returns HD (post-update) - 7.5/10

What I said before mostly applies now, but I'd say HD has become the defacto best version of Country Returns. Bugs have been squashed, Dixie is great to have for grinding time attack, frenzy is surprisingly fun, and load times are actually bearable on Switch 2.

Saw a post comparing the lack of first party exclusives on Switch 2 to the PS5 and that reminded me of these screenshots I took

It's just kind of common sense that every Nintendo console has these games? Every system since the N64 has had at least one original 3D Mario and 3D Zelda, the only exceptions being DS (it had a Mario 64 port) and Wii U (BotW lost Wii U exclusivity to the Switch due to its launch timing)

3D Mario tends to release within the second calendar year of a new console's lifespan, and we're only a month into 2026

As for Zelda, I think the only time we've gotten it as a launch title is when a previous console's entry took so long to make that they had time to make a current gen version

Some more discrepancies I've noticed on this webpage:

-The Bulb Yoshi video contains a single frame of Mario collecting the star in A Glimmer of Bulb Berry
-The Rock Mario video contains a single frame from the Fire Flower video, implying they were at one point part of the same file

That's odd, because I could've sworn there was a statement saying that the Virtual Boy accessories would be compatible with the Switch's Labo VR enabled games (besides the Labo VR game itself, for obvious reasons)

If that's the case then there's no reason it shouldn't work vice versa
