22.01.2026 21:00 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Good man. That pain never really goes away. Even if the offseason, it lingers... Still, this was their best season since 2006!

18.01.2026 23:58 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I see so many excellent records here. One could only assume then, rightfully, that Train's entire discography is also present within the collection. Also Incubus and Matchbox 20. And Hoobastank.
12.01.2026 00:12 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Watching the Drew Carey Show brings me a cathartic sense of peace.
So does finishing an IRB...
I think that's basically it.
I like this take.

28.10.2025 02:37 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0The people of Toronto are wise. They are not Drake fans, they are Train fans, given that Ontario borders the home state of Train singer Pat Monahan.
28.10.2025 02:22 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Point being, if I take just as long to explain to A.I. what it needs to do, why would I not write the thing myself?
22.09.2025 21:13 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I just had to write an email that was simultaneously, complex, but low stakes. It took me about 15 minutes.
I'm just left thinking how A.I. could possibly have made my life easier in this regard... it can't? It would have taken me just as long writing a prompt to explain the situation.
Every Friday I meet with my research students, and every Friday I am left wowed by the amazing questions and ideas the have. Today produced four pages of notes of thoughts and ideas, and its just a treat, it really is.

10.09.2025 20:14 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0You know what album has an incredible bullpen: Train's "Drops of Jupiter." Once you get passed all the singles, then you got tracks like "Mississippi," "I Wish You Would," and "Getaway," amongst others. The Blue Jays of 90s alt rock, if you will.

We really need more papers on this issue
This is the one time a semester where I can prep Aural Skills and have music in the background! It's when I'm setting up my syllabus...

Their singer would move to CA to start the Grammy Award winning band Train. They would eventually write the song "Hey Soul Sister." A hit beloved by all.

I also vividly remember my parents telling me to not watch it when I was 10.
If you want, I can burn you a CD of some of my favorite songs.

12.07.2025 23:08 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Yet another band you just get totally wrong. Train is excellent. Now, I do agree that Hey Soul Sister is a worse song than anything from their first two albums, but alas.
Actually! I believe their album "Live at Royal Albert Hall" came out last year, and I listened to it walking around Banff.
I often write and edit at this hotel. Seemingly, many moons ago, I "forever borrowed" a pen of theirs. I had to pull it out today, while working at their bar. The bartender shot me a look... I'm not sure I can ever go back.
