Me, too! I’ve missed my reading lately! Expansive, fulfilling for the mind and soul.

Terrific writing. When I was growing up, everyone used to wear a red crepe paper poppy on 11/11, including all the children in my elementary school. Most of our fathers and uncles had fought in WWII and grandfathers in WWI. And mothers had worked to support the cause against fascism.

I’m listening to Lawrence right now, after listening to Rachel. Love both of them. Lawrence’s take is different and I‘m seeing a new way of looking at this. If it makes sense, listen to him.

It just takes my breath away. After amassing so much support for holding the line - after No Kings, the massive election wins, etc., etc. - it feels like those who have voted to end the shutdown have just blown that.
