Tried this and it still doesn't seem to work.

I just started using it recently, but I'm using it on two machines both running the same version of Ubuntu and it's a problem on one and not the other. They're both using SSDs.

Image isn't uploading for some reason, but essentially, the `cmd_update_grpc_request` is taking roughly 180ms for each access.

I'm running Ubuntu v24.04.2 and the latest Yaak installed using the AppImage. Here's what the network requests look like when I'm typing "hello" in the editor (for some reason each request takes almost 200ms):

How can I go about debugging extremely slow performance on Ubuntu. Even the typing is lagging which seems unusual.

I don't see Zig's selling point. Rust guarantees memory safety, but is Zig just supposed to be C with new syntax? Doesn't seem to be solving a problem...

Heads up to anyone using the serde_yml crate (crates.io/crates/serde...), or any crate by the same author. It's maintained using AI generated code and is extremely poor quality, even leading to seg faults...

Highly recommend switching away from these types of crates and their authors...

LLMs are just statistical models of text. Languages like Python and JS are more prevalent and therefore have more presence in the training set which is why the models are better at them.

map_or requires the construction of a default value on none while is_some_and and is_none_or don't.

Rust's toolchain is one of its greatest strengths.
