Read a book that was just so awful I'm having trouble picking up anything else. I've picked up 5 books now, started reading it and just continued to feel so annoyed by that previous book that I keep shelving everything.

Read a wee bit less this month than most months due to heat and also busy but August wrap-up!

41/85 books on shelf read so far this year! Been so nice to get back into regular reading again

I discovered one of the horses where I walk is named Pepsi, and lately Pepsi has taken to following me around which is now causing the other horses in that pasture to also follow me, which is causing the horses in the adjacent pasture to ALSO follow me. Very cool in day, very terrifying at night
