Hey bsky friends! I have a friend & colleague who is working on her music ed masters thesis and needs music teachers to interview. She’d like to talk to anyone who is disabled (broadly defined, anything that affects the way you do your job) and teaches music in any setting (higher ed too!)

It makes me a little sad honestly because it’s like, oh damn things could have been so much easier

Genuinely though I feel amazing. It’s at least 50% quieter in my brain and I’m no longer completely exhausted after work — so when I get home I’m able to do chores and cook. I know that sounds mundane as hell but for me it’s life-changing.

I state in the syllabus that they are not allowed to use generative AI for any assignments and have them affirm that they understand that in an orientation assignment, all to be sure it falls under academic dishonesty — though UW does explicitly allow profs to do that

My lesson planning for the week is also done and it’s only 5pm! I am unstoppable!

january 2026 K-Pop roundup — maine witch on (k)-pop New format! I’ve decided to try to do these monthly. For each month I’ll pick three tracks to highlight: one from a group, one from a soloist, and one full release (an album/single/EP/whatever).

Can you perhaps tell that my adhd is now being treated?

I require page-number citations in all written work so if the citation is wrong or fake I give a zero and a warning that further instances will result in an academic dishonesty report. So far it’s been working.

I am not a photocard collector & I don’t do the kpop stan thing of buying every album version (I buy one of each because I want the CD-quality audio!)…but I did keep pulling Ricky and now I’ll never get another ZB1 Ricky poca because of the Big Split 😭
