Bei allem, was sich im Erzählen von Kojima-Productions-Spielen seit Metal Gear Solid V so geändert hat, bleibt auch in Death Stranding 2 das Etablieren einer fantastischen Welt, gefolgt von unheimlich viel Mühe, die Fantastik abzutragen, um dann doch das ein oder andere schwebende ? übrig zu lassen.

So knorkig og-children-of-mana-esque ›The Adventures of Elliot‹ auch ausschaut, wäre es durchaus erlaubt, HD-2D nicht durch drei Spiele pro Jahr in die Übersättigung zu treiben.
