Itโ€™s a beautiful day in Canada. ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

Once weโ€™ve taken some time to breathe, our next job is to put serious pressure on our government to do more to combat misinformation. Those PSAs during the hockey games arenโ€™t cutting it.

I love this country so immensely. The way weโ€™ve come together to defend our values has just been outstanding. Elbows up, we stand together. ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

Pope Francis was a bright light in an increasingly dark world. If part of Francisโ€™s legacy is a movement toward capitalism with a conscience and PM Carney is at the forefront of that, thatโ€™s all the confirmation I need that I voted for the right party this weekend.

May Francis rest in peace.

Theyโ€™re talking about Rebel News and True North, who also disrupted after the French debate yesterday.

Who are they helping by obstructing the work of the free press? Same guy who doesnโ€™t take questions on the campaign trail. This is obstruction of democracy. Think hard about that. #Debate2025

Yeah, because the reason I stopped going to Starbucks is totally because the barista was wearing a pink shirt and definitely not because a hand-crafted coffee costs $8 now. ๐Ÿ™„

According to CTV News, the majority of Canadians want PM Carney to disclose where his assets were held before they went into blind trust. But the point of the blind trust is that he literally has no idea whether heโ€™s still holding those assets or if theyโ€™ve been moved elsewhere. So, why the uproar?

Itโ€™s shocking we even need to discuss this, but: if you were born after 1970, get your measles immunity checked if youโ€™re not sure you got two vaccines doses. I did it, it was easy, and the whole process is covered under OHIP if youโ€™re in Ontario. Measles is no joke โ€” be safe!

Disappointing Buy Canadian experience today. I bought some Habitant Soup thinking it was the most Canadian soup ever. Label has a Canada symbol and says itโ€™s from Mississauga. But if you look closely, the symbol says โ€œdesigned inโ€ above it and below it says Product of USA. Check labels carefully!

I agree. Lots of people donโ€™t have a choice, especially teachers and families with school-aged kids. But if you can travel in shoulder season, itโ€™s definitely the better option.

- Quebecโ€™s maritime routes. The drive around the Gaspรฉ Peninsula is almost on par with the Cabot Trail for views but isnโ€™t as widely known. And for the truly adventurous, I cannot recommend enough the drive on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River to Mingan Archipelago National Park Reserve.

- Lake Superiorโ€™s north shore between Sault Ste. Marie and Thunder Bay. This has to be one of Canadaโ€™s most underappreciated drives. Pukaskwa National Park and the many Ontario Parks in this region are absolute gems. Arguably the best in Ontario for people who love hiking, paddling, etc.
