2. They cost more to buy and operate than Sprinters.

this government's record on railways is awful the south-west is on its knees, midland electrification cancelled, Ely junction cancelled, hs2 remains knee capped.

The last thing we need more of - electric or not.

building the high-speed network to standard gauge,prepared for standard gauge conversion or some dual gauging on a case by case basis is fine but re-gauging the entire networks of these countries rather than.
