I don't think it has to - there just needs to be a critical enough mass of issues combined with a lack of solutions coming from liberals for the situation to collapse. It's happening worldwide, so there's clearly a sufficient amount of forces at play.

Flattened wages, loss of jobs, atomization, collapse in education, difficulties with dating in the app era, etc. Frustrations from these things are harnessed by techno-fascist control over social media and the manosphere precisely because liberals ignore them and individualize men's problems.
