Time to head back to the shire. London was as hot and busy as I thought it would be but the sights (both exhibitions and people-watching) still make it worth visiting

I’m a child of the 80s rather than a clubber of the 80s so never saw much of Leigh Bowery at his peak, but I’m glad I went to the exhibition about him at the Tate Modern - and not just because it had air-con and a sequined wall for selfies!

Really enjoyed watching Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Given that the soundtrack was the background to most long-distance car journeys when I was a kid, it is not surprising that we remembered all the lyrics!
