Are NASA trolling us with the teardrop shape or have they not read Liu Cixin's Dark Forest?

Buy SoniaSulaiman a Coffee Sonia is writing speculative fiction inspired by Palestinian folklore. Leave her a tip to support her work!

I'm fundraising for living expenses. If I meet the goal by the 15th of November, I'll release a story that I wrote for Clarion West Writer's Workshop. It's an experimental and philosophical piece about Hypatia of Alexandria called "Knowable, Harmonious, and Good."

Finally finished this book (not for a lack of interest, more like a case of life getting in the way) and it was really good. I could see the tangles of the plot pretty soon, but it didn't detract from the pleasure I had reading it. Warmly recommended!

We should also normalize that one study doesn't a science make. Believing in conspiracies or blindly putting one's faith in misunderstood scholarship are both sides of the same coin of ignorance.

Damn. This is amazing. Β£325 per week, paid monthly, for 3 years - and the result was a profit for the Irish economy:

Have you watched all the seasons? I only watched the first one and while I enjoyed the setting (and the fact that it was not American haha!), I thought it to be a bit derivative. I'm wondering if the following seasons pick up the pace.

Book cover for "Esperance" by Adam Oyebanji. The cover has a red background with a large, dark, stylized mosquito-like insect in the center. The insect has glowing blue eyes and a long proboscis. The author's name, "ADAM OYEBANJI," is at the top in white text, and the title, "ESPERANCE," is at the bottom. A small blue planet is visible in the upper-left corner of the dark, starry background.

I'm really liking this one so far. I'm a sucker for noir and sci-fi mash-ups, so this is right up my alley.

Delighted that Cory is having a moment with "Enshittification," because it's an accurate word for what's happening in tech and he's the right person to describe it.

Just finished this. I think this is the first time I read sci-fi that takes Davidson's radical interpretation seriously. Of course it also refers Nagel's bat. Even if I didn't like everything in it, I'm quite impressed by this part of the book.

I'm enjoying this series, but it irritates me that Boy Kavalier is presented as some sort of genius when he's only aligning platitudes and barking erratic orders. When will billionaires will be shown as what they are, rich dumb fucks surrounding themselves with intelligent people?
