This is what our week looks like:
👩‍🌾 Full-time jobs (one non-profit and another small biz!)
👶 Toddler parents
🌱 Weeding, planting, harvesting, etc., etc.
🥚 Caring for livestock and wildlife

We built our Kickstarter campaign in between our 9-5 and 5-9 lives 😅

This is why we started our small farm. Increase resilience. Better food access. Regenerative ag.

A high tunnel on our small farm means earlier harvests, longer seasons, more reliability. More good food, grown here. Less dependence on the broken systems that forget places like rural America.

Rural communities are very vulnerable rn. 1 in 13 folks in our county are food insecure!

We love the local grocery store, but as the last stop on the distribution line, the food is almost always going bad. Most of what grows around us isn't for people. And it's grown to scale, not nourishment.

Sounds like another day for the Democrats, the party more interested in protecting its class wealth than the people they represent.
