I get why Collins needs to go; what you need to address is why we should vote for you over Mills or any other candidate in the primary.

What I read are platitudes and complaints. If he/they wants us to get more, he/they needs to make the effort.

What Mr. Platner should be doing is taking these questions and begin answering them in speeches and on social media. If his team is paying any attention, they'd clearly know what the general, cynical sentiments are about him and his candidacy.

I have yet to see an explanation as to how ICE/CBP managed to deport so many people without all this performative angst and unConstitutional practices.

If this were soon-to-be Senator Mills, the #Maine GOP would be howling about overspending and waste.

It should be a requirement that every Congressperson read the Constitution once a week and then have to take a test on it.

I completely agree that Collins needs to go. But even your list of “lowest possible input” is a haul for an inexperienced Senator.
P.S. We know how Platner feels about the Democratic establishment. Voting with them may be problematic for him.

I am not comparing Platner to Mills, just stating a fact: he has no political track record. How voters feel about that is another matter. After all, Felon47 was elected … twice.

But we are then back to the problem: he has no track record showing he knows how to achieve those (or any other) platform goals. We are just supposed to believe in him. #MEpolitics

Not a dichotomy really, but rather a grouping giving Platner more credibility than he has simply by putting him in the same league as the other two.

Comparing Momdani/Crockett to Platner is a false dichotomy. The former both had some political experience (state & local) under their belts before running for their current positions. Platner has none but still wants us to believe in him enough to put him in a 6-year seat at the national level.

That many votes were cast, not that many people voted.

I trust no one is surprised.
