I've seen chest mimics, I've seen door mimics, I've even seen staircase mimics, but I've never seen a lever mimic

I'll be honest, it's not really the gameplay or streamlining that bother me about DQ7R. It's more that a lot of the wonder and exploration has been taken out.

I think this screencap was the moment that I realized the game doesn't trust me.

Welp, the outside is done, interiors left, which are much easier since negative space is the frame and you dont have to make sure they perfectly match a grid >:T

Rpgmaker.net coming back online is very significant, as a whole generation of 2000s and 2010s indie games was contextless and nearly lost without it.

It's wonderful to see it back in action. Hopefully to stay!

Hey, people who have played For the Love of RPG Maker, I'm curious if the final dungeon drags on too long, I'm tempted to make a Normal Mode that ends quicker and leaving the current version as a Manaic Mode or something

With RMN back up I found some in-engine mockups of the game that would eventually become Brave Hero Yuusha. These were from 2014.

I'm pretty sure some of these tiles were straight rips. The final game would be all unique assets.
