I’d left season 1 of For All Mankind half-watched for 3 years. Decided to get back to it today and ended up finishing it.

Really enjoyed it! Might start Season 2 before bed

Looking at the “YOU CAN’T TRUST EVERYTHING YOU SEE ONLINE” sign, inventing a robot that burns pensions for fuel to paint over the “EVERY” with “ANY” and watching investors cum themselves into a coma

Yeah, SHR is really just RAID5 with some flexibility to mix and match drive sizes. A NAS *should* be able to go from RAID1 to RAID5 once you add a third drive and give it a lot of time to rebuild but I’ve never done it myself.

I use Synology’s hybrid raid and it’s fine to add new drives, even going from one disk to two

My best guess is that mentally you always think “well, of course I can pick up a single sock, nbd” and there’s enough going on mechanically for so little sustained time that it just loosens up ezpz

You’re not going to believe me but I swear to god this works 100% of the time…

Take a single sock. Drop it to the floor. Pick it up. Drop it again. Pick it up. Drop it again. Keep doing this. Within 2 minutes you’ll feel quite a lot better. Do the sock routine as needed.
