The media trots out the "deplorable" comment from a decade ago to castigate the left. Once a week now Trump implies that the military should destroy democrats, and it is just how things are.

I must say… all the news is really starting to get to me mentally. I’ve been doing a “decent” job coping this year but things just keep getting worse and worse. I’ll never forgive anyone that voted for Trump

What I don’t get is why we don’t have paid parking on inner Division, Hawthorne, etc. I honestly get the argument that paid parking hurts the recovery of downtown, even though I wish that wasn’t the case and more took trimet.

If we had paid parking in other areas, it would level the playing field.

I'm not a big MLS fan, but I see the Portland Timbers are playing all their games and even doing pretty well, despite playing in a war ravaged city.

And Powell's Books, the world's largest independent bookstore, is holding book readings pretty much every night.

Texas is just so incredibly frustrating because the bones of a great city are there for Dallas and Houston, but years of the highway centric TxDOT and suburban counties really ruin them

The sheer amount of different trains in the DFW area is insane

Besides DART light rail and TRE commuter rail, for DMU: they also have the A-train, TEXRail and upcoming Dart Silver Line

So many trains but still relatively low ridership 😢
