Correct. Telehealth for mental health, as well as acute stroke care, will remain covered thanks to previous legislation.

I run a telehealth company. To set you at ease, this extension of telehealth coverage can (and should) be done by an act of Congress and there is strong bipartisan support.

Across counties, service utilization was associated w/ insurance coverage, median household income, & education. An increase from the median insurance coverage rate to the 75th percentile (a 3% point difference) was associated with a 7.8% (95% UI, 3.6%-12.0%) increase in ambulatory care utilization

…65% of variation was explained by service utilization, while price & intensity of services, disease prevalence, & pop. age explained 24%, 7%, and 4%. Insurance coverage & med. income were associated with more utilization, while the fraction of Medicare with Med. Advantage was associated with less.
