Box of Barilla pasta sold in Canada. In Italy the same box has 500 g of pasta. In Canada it used to be 454 g (1 lb), then 420, now 410 g.

Not sure it's No.1, but I do know that in Italy these boxes contain 500 g of pasta. I don't think it's because of differences in appetite.
