My brain chewed up a post about the current full moon, combining "super moon" with "beaver moon" to get "super beaver", and since my mind typically resides in the gutter...well.

Potential good news update: My sister is meeting someone this weekend who should be able to take all of her pets. So cross your fingers for a little while longer.

HVAC upgrade is going great. Today everything smelled like burning insulation.

All day.

My sister needs help.

She and her family have 30 days to move because the landlord wants the house back.

It's not likely they can find a place that will allow 4 small dogs and 4 cats.

She needs help rehoming them so they won't go to the shelter.

Anyone in the Denton, TX area that can help?

We're in the process of getting our HVAC upgraded at the library.

This past week the process has included a whole lot of space heaters and multiple layers of clothing.

Going to the bathroom is like visiting Hoth.

A grand total of twenty-four trick-or-treaters for the night. Getting fewer every year.

A few more handfuls of children have come through. One of them told me that she loved my house while petting my screen door. She then told me to have the happiest Halloween ever. Pretty sure I was just blessed.

Nealy an hour and a half in and we finally got our first trick-or-treaters. A princess, a pokemon, and an I don't know, but rock on, good sir.

It's a shame that the devil can't entice innocent young children anymore.

Found out that Reginald startled another unsuspecting coworker today as well.

I moved him tonight and sent that pic in the work group chat..

He still ended up startling yet another coworker.

They are all going to be so happy when Reginald stops haunting the main floor next month.

This month patrons are playing "Find Reginald", our probably haunted Charlie McCarthy-looking doll. I'm in charge of moving him around the main floor and usually I send a pic to staff so they know where he is.

Monday was a cluster & I didn't send the pic.
