I love this so much and I am absolutely tearing up about it. The gentleness and plainness of this, the way he just lets her be her (and she seems so damn lovely, who wouldn’t?), the generosity.

It isn’t going to solve the world’s problems, but this kind of humanity is a hell of a start.

Joking aside, I don't think they peaked with Colors. It's my favorite album by them but certainly colored by nostalgia. For me Colors was the start of a new era that Alaska had dabbled in and everything they've done since has been fantastic. I'm lukewarm on the first two albums

About 12 years ago I was with some friends at a scotch bar in Baltimore called Birds of a Feather and someone realized Patton Oswalt was at the end of the bar. He was deep in conversation with someone so we didn't bother him. Miss that spot, it was a good one.

For blue, Emry is a fun one! It's pretty common to drop her on turn 1, and if she gets removed that's arguably a good thing. She's very open ended so you can roll with a bunch of different ideas though it'll generally be some sort of artifact theme, of course.

I love brewing mono color decks and white was such a struggle to get something together that could hang with other decks without being something oppressive like Light Paws. I finally got a brew I'm happy with, and with an unusual commander!
