Had a chance to catch up with my friends State Rep. Bob Freeman, Easton Councilwoman Crystal Rose and Councilman Frank Pintabone.

Safe walking capability is key for many of our local communities in Northampton County. I’ll continue to support these important initiatives throughout our county.

Was honored to be part of today’s press conference in the City of Easton where the Lehigh Valley Transportation Study announced $1.3 million for traffic calming and walking improvements, and $300k for downtown intersection safety redesign.

Tuition is increasing for students attending colleges and universities here in #Pennsylvania, which stinks for our youth. We need to make college and higher education opportunities more affordable, not less.

This letter to the editor was in our local paper. I introduced a resolution that passed on Northampton County Council that called upon our state legislators to support these bills. All too often individuals who live in manufactured home parks are being gouged.

I was just up at the Nazareth Farmers Market, and also gave a donation to the Nazareth Food Bank for a food drive that was put on by my friend Christine Stofko. Let’s keep doing food drives for our local communities. Food insecurity is a very real thing.

Trump’s new executive order isn’t good for the homeless and mentally ill.

We need to keep in mind that #NFL players are supposed to learn during the course of training camp. They are not supposed to be perfect. These are not regular season game situations. Training camp narratives are often ridiculous.

The cuts in federal food aid funding are hurting Second Harvest Food Bank, their partners & about 85,000 people in our region. We recently awarded $100,000 to offset these cuts, but the funding only goes so far. This is a mess that didn’t need to happen.
