The fact that the courts have been hijacked at the highest level is one of the most terrifying aspects of all of this.

That's not all mental illness though. I think that it's a lack of access to healthcare as well as access to decent education and economic opportunities.

Sadly, these are solvable problems. But society needs to want to solve them. And I'm not sure they do right now.

I am shocked to watch a complete denigration of the American Constitution, largely through the support of the Supreme Court. I'm not sure what any society can do to protect itself from this if the courts and the constitution can't.

It's a lesson to all of us to not assume that any of us are safe from the influence of fascism.
