The thing about No Kings the GOP doesn't seem to get isn't that we hate you as much as it is that we recognize you for what you are.

I feel like George Santos exemplifies a lot of what’s broken in the “justice” system. He was a corrupt politician, he briefly experienced the horrors of inhumane prison conditions, then the corrupt president moved to yank him out—and his victims received none of what they were owed in the process

It's a sadly frequent phenomenon.

It seems especially prominent with Black, fem, LGBTQIA+, and disabled right activists who already put in so much effort to our collective struggle, and deal with so much harassment as is.

Zoom should be available for every court proceeding, every time, everywhere. Courts are already too opaque and inaccessible, and expecting people to drop everything and show up to sit for hours is just ritualistic for its own sake and effectively prevents poor and disabled people from participating.
