I think we are using different senses of the word entitled - permitted to vs obligated to. “Not entitled to a relationship” reads to me like you’re trying to forbid people from having a relationship

Ah right, yes I meant entitled in the former sense, not the latter

wtf?! no, quite the reverse. I’m saying that relationships in the modern world are defined by the people in them, not dictated to them from afar, which is a Good Thing. nobody outside can say your don’t have a right to the relationship you’re in, ie, you are entitled to that relationship.

Because why I date is nobody else’s business? We don’t live in a world of arranged marriages etc any more
