I was at a workshop held by @bikesd.bsky.social to brainstorm ways to improve El Cajon Blvd and Councilmember Elo-Rivera was there. Just want to say he talked about how he bikes regularly for commutes and honestly I appreciate when govt leaders who use the infrastructure they vote on. We need more!

More delays for route 215 means more buses and operators (which we canβt afford) are needed for current service levels, which means cuts and in increase in traffic on Park Blvd and El Cajon Blvd.

We also led the first Bachman Bikeway ride π and launched our Protect the Lane campaign. SD is #1 in blocked bike lanes (not in a good way). Parked cars = danger for cyclists.
