Hoping to get more black educators to post about 💜

My primary mission in education is to be the teacher I needed. I had two Black woman educators in K-16 and I never saw myselt, My story, or my struggles retlected. l've made it my responsibility to ensure Black children, specifically Black girls, see ourselves and our stories in the school building.

While in the airport waiting to board, I had to make sure my 20 year old mini me was raised right.

Maga hat walked by. I observed her facial expression. Filth.

Then she talked about how protests filled with folk who regret their vote and didn't listen.

I did one thing right.

Some Recession indicators:
-sardines being all the rage (they weren’t cool at all when I was a kid lol)
-people paying top dollar for what is essentially jail food (spicy bowls)
