There's a growing number of tourists who ride WeGo bus. I see them on the 18 from the airport and on the 7 and 3, between downtown and Green Hills and Vanderbilt-Centennial Park. The $2 or $1 per ride are no deterrent whatsoever.

Several studies have shown that free transit has little impact on ridership. It only costs $1 for a senior citizen to ride WeGo from Bellevue to Lower Broadway. While a rideshare or parking your car costs ?? Transit needs to be safe, not free.

There's no need for 100% free fares. We already have Vanderbilt, the State, Belmont etc providing free fares. Titans pay for fares on home game days. Charities provide free tickets to the poor. WHAT WE NEED IS YOU ALL RIDING MORE: try it, ride it all over town on Titans game days.

Took the 9 this morning. A couple of new Nashvillians residing in Germantown boarded it. But it can definitely use more riders. There are lots of destinations at each end of the line but a lack of incentives to reach them by bus.

Earlier I was flabbergasted that residents got killed and maimed by cars on narrowish 3rd Avenue N in Nashville with all the new "luxury" housing plus a greenway.

Earlier I was bushwhacking through Metrocenter to the new beautiful healthcare clinic.

There's still no service on the WeGo number 9 bus on Saturday, Sunday, holidays in Nashville? Okay. Doesn't affect me so much since most of my Metrocenter/ Germantown trips are on business days. I'm just surprised. I thought Germantown pop was growing.
