I just watched Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein. Any adjectives I could use to describe it are wholly inadequate. I read that it received a 15 minute standing ovation at the film festival in Venice, but that too is inadequate.

In some odd way, the worse society becomes, the better I feel. Not because I like any of it, but because it justifies my nihilistic sense of foreboding. After decades of intense suicidal ideation, now I'm content to watch the society that never accepted me collapse.

Whatever that makes me, I am.

I have wicked fall allergies that have always happened when they start cutting grain in the fields. Now I have to rethink my life.

1985, I had a Drill Sgt, he was the most hardcore soldier I ever met. He was asked about a flag burning incident in the newspaper. I will never forget his answer.

That's why I do this, so they can burn the flag, that's why we're here.

We need soldiers like that today!

This sort of painting straddles a thin line for me between being pointless and intriguing, but I think you've pulled off the intriguing side. It pulls me in to imagine the next layer, the elements that are unseen.

Yes, they had played Philly the night before and Billie wasn't able to play Hershey the next night.

Bad Religion and it's not even close for me, but I'm biased because I'm still pissed at Green Day for the NO SHOW in Hershey PA on the Saviours tour, so we also missed out on Linda Lindas, Rancid, and Smashing Pumpkins after driving 385 miles.

I saw Santana with Buddy Miles in Frankfurt Germany 1987 and again in 2023 nearer to home. He is amazing and still has it after all these years.

Far beyond the women in prison genre, this relies less on sex, nudity, violence and more on mood and lighting. The worst bits are done with cut aways and fade to blacks, leaving you knowing what happened without the gore. This film makes a bold statement about fundementalism.

I think its a medical instrument used by proctologists in the 19th century.
