That’s not really what I mean. I don’t think it’s my place to try to convince someone to “take care of themselves” because what is the definition for that?

Especially living under capitalism, where the propaganda of wellness is all about being able to work? Just a thought. Meant in kindness.

I am glad that that friend got what they needed to get through the day. Capitalism sucks, I totally agree. But I’d rather go after the system and celebrate people’s tenacity and ability to survive, even if it is something we don’t enjoy or wish for ourselves.

The medication stockpile bill is the bill I had pegged this year as the most important kind of bill to pass given federal threats, with a short time window to make it happen. Washington passed the same bill earlier this year.
