They want your appeasement, they will not give you respect and they do not respect you because of their own prejudice. So the more you try to fit in their definition, the more they will move the goalposts, because their definition of gender is what they say it is. That's it. The point is control.

The advice I would give other trans people, is that you decide who you are, even when it counters that patriarchal definition of what that means. And people, trans people, will use that against you no matter what you do, even when you try to appease them.

A transmasc is accused of calling themselves a woman (despite not having ever said woman), not because then the transmasc will be able to be a woman despite not wanting it, but to deny them the thing that is defined as a woman thing.

A transmasc person calls themselves a man, then they can't be a man because they don't fit into the patriarchal definition of a man.

The entirety of general accusations hurled at transmascs are rooted in maintaining patriarchal binary gender, with the purpose of denying us gender, any gender.

-> "you (transmasc) are calling yourself a woman", when woman was not a word I used anywhere in a statement. But what I said was in the *accusers* definition of what a woman is.

Upon transitioning, many trans people will carry with them the same definitions of "man" and "woman" that carries over in interactions with other trans people.
