Friendship bracelets made of a lavender stem tied in a circle and wrapped in embroidery floss. One orange, and one purple.
This is not knitting, but it was a quick, fun craft (and makes me sound super crunchy): kiddo and I picked some lavender, and he made one stem into a bracelet for his friend. I suggested wrapping it with string... And ended up doing it myself because that's how it is sometimes.

A little frog for Teacher Appreciation Week (commissioned by my 8-year-old for his teacher, who loves frogs). It's not my best work - I struggled with the pattern more than I expected to. But still cute!

So here's a past project for #showmeyourknits colorwork week! The Dragon Tale Cowl by Hunt Hand Knits was so much fun to make. The mitts were improvised to match (sort of).

Poorly lit shawl pinned for blocking. This was for my sister-in-law to wear during her wedding to my brother. Pattern is the Swallowtail Shawl, blocked into a crescent-ish shape. Yarn is an Artyarns silk mohair.

I love the color you're using! It's been a few years since I knit this, and I don't have the pattern in front of me, but I think the short rows are how you get the slight slope from the shoulder to the neck.
