This song was composed by me in 1994. My friend Tarh and I recorded the demo of this tune on two acoustic guitars. Shortly afterwards we formed the music- and #demoscene group called 'The SandS': thesands.ru.

100% acoustic home made record. Piano and harmonica recorded to AKG 1000s mic. Matchbox shaking, hands and fingers clapping, plastic bottle punching, bunch of newspapers kicking and even wrench ringing. Bass, solo and rhythm guitar recorded from their pickups. 2005.

'The Song Of Peace' – I composed this tune in 2001 after 9/11 when the war against Iraq was started. In 2005 I recorded it for the 'PostMODism' musicdisk, in 4 channels using Amiga ProTracker. Since then, the song of peace has remained highly relevant.

I remember I was listening to in in 1994 a lot

DEC PDP-11 compatible 16-bit home computer from 1990, designed in USSR.
Soyuz-Neon PK-11/16.
It runs RT-11 operation system and has VGA-like graphic modes (up to 832x300).
Of course, I have coded a few intros for it :) #demoscene

Go to the 'INTROs' directory and run anything with '.exe' or no file extension. Obviously, '.asm' and '.mac' (macro-assembler) are source code. You can read them pressing Alt+3

The best emulator for Windows (with built-in debugger and all that tools): gid.pdp-11.ru/beta/?custom...
Also have ARM Windows build, I run it on Mac under VMware.

Emulator on Java, easily runs on any Mac: sandro.pdp-11.ru

BK 0011 is really cool computer, because it’s PDP-11 compatible – probably the best 16-but CPU architecture ever made. Its assembly language is poetry :)
