I think this looks good, but you could also do it it in line-by-line by loading in the tilemap with blank tiles then load the (unique) tile data line by line.

You can play SMS cartridges on GG with a Master Gear or similar passive converter if you wanted to go that route: consolemods.org/wiki/Game_Ge...

It's a common difficulty curve in games and even stages I believe. Build up to 2/3 of the way being the hardest then ease off to enjoy the rest.

Just like a 3 act play or the hero's journey. It could be why if it varies from this it feels off, boring etc.

No plans currently but I wouldn't say it's impossible.

Since everyone will probably be playing Earthion from tomorrow (which is also my birthday btw) I wanted to thank everyone for trying the demo of Razing Core.

I've begun work on the rest of the game and I hope I can realise what I have planned.

Minor changes to the demo bringing to version 0.1.3.4.

- Optimised collisions
- Changed charge meter to not be completely depleted upon death (lose 0 levels on Easy, 1 on Normal, 2 on Hard)

I asked them at the end of May who was their artist and received no reply. Now I know why.
