Nice to see some Common Blues, Small Copper and a Roesel's Bush Cricket on Garrett's Green industrial estate this afternoon.

Scarlet Pimpernel, Hedge Woundwort, Corncockle and Knapweed found on Garrett's Green industrial estate this week.

Bloody Crane's-bill, Celery Leaved Buttercup, Marsh Orchid and Pyramid Bugle found around Saltwells LNR.

It was lovely to find these Scarlet Tiger Moths in the garden amongst the Red Valerian.

Lovely sunny walk around #LadywalkNR this morning, highlights were Glossy Ibis, Cuckoo, Lesser Whitethroat, Green Sandpiper, Bullfinch and Treecreeper.

Also Yellow Legged Gull and two Little Ringed Plovers.

Spent a few hours at #LadywalkNR this morning, highlights were Cuckoo, Grasshopper Warbler, Red Kite, Water Rail, Great White Egret and Goosander. Nine species of warbler found.

Lady's Smock, Lesser Celandine, Wild Garlic and Greater Stitchwort found along the Fazeley Canal today.

Had a walk around Middleton Lakes today, highlights were Yellow Wagtail, Redstart, Water
Rail, Avocet, Blackwit, LRP and Grasshopper Warblers.

Fantastic to see an Osprey fly over at Southfields Farm, also Lesser Whitethroat, Willow Warbler, Yellowhammer, Bulfinch, Cetti's Warbler, Grey Wagtail and Kingfisher.

Had a walk along the River Cole this morning, 33 species of bird including Skylark, Green Sandpiper, Reed Bunting, Goosander(f), Blackcap, YL Gull, and Buzzards, nice to hear plenty of Chiffchaffs too.

Had a walk along the River Cole, Stechford to Shard End, plenty of birds around including Skylark, Bulfinch, Blackcap, Fieldfare, Redwing and Buzzards, also good to see Starling numbers increasing.

It was nice to hear so many singing Song Thrushes along the River Cole, Shard End this morning, YL Gull, Kestrel, Buzzard, Blackcap, Bulfinch, Greenfinch, Nuthatch and Coal Tit were also seen.

It really is worth a visit at any time of year, quite good for wildlife too.

Had a walk around #SandwellValley this morning, Goldeneye, Goosander, Pochard, Common Snipe, Lesser Redpoll, Siskin and Fieldfare were the highlights. #RSPBSandwellValley

Had a walk around Castle Vale meadows earlier, not too much about but good sized flocks of Redwing and Goldfinch with a few Fieldfare and a Green Woodpecker.
