Page one of my OC bee transformation comic. A human artist is sitting at a table in his backyard. It's a partly cloudy day and he is stirring some honey into a cup of tea. Unbeknownst to him, there is a swarm of mischievous bees flying behind him, chuckling with knowing smiles. One of them slowly approaches him from behind. The little bee gives out a big buzz ("BIZZ BEE!") which instantly startles the artist leading to him kicking the table and tea away shouting "Ahhh! A Bee!" As he trys to swipe the bees away, one of them grabs on to his right index finger and pokes him with it's stinger. This starts a rapid transformation as the artist's hair and body turn yellow. He takes on more bee characteristics like antennas, multiple legs, red eyes and an abdomen with a stinger at the end. He suddenly shrinks out of his clothes to the size of a regular bee and starts flying in midair with his new wings as the other bees watch around him. he is noticeably more humanoid than the other bees who are round cartoony bees.

Page two of my OC bee transformation comic. While the new honeybee fly in the air confused by his sudden change from a human into a bug, the swarm of bees look at him, expecting some kind of reaction. The little honeybee is livid at the sudden indignity of it all. Shaking his fists up in frustration. "DON"T SCARE ME LIKE THAT" he yells at the other bees. They all smile at him, giving little laughs and tee hees at his expense. They clearly like this new guy even if he hates them as first. Sometime later we find the little honeybee, laying on the swarm of bees carrying him like a floating mattress in water and looking at them with warm amusement (clearly not mad at them anymore). One of them says to him "See, we're not so bad up close." "Yeah. You guys are cool" he says in response.

I had an intense fear of bees growing up. Now I think they're cool as heck. (Still don't care for wasps though)

Working to make them more exaggerated and silly, but I run the gamut of Toony.

I had come up with a sona that would be a cartoon rabbit ala Bugs Bunny. While I settled with a simple white rabbit look, the initial design is still a favorite of mine, so I made them two distinct entities. Spec the white color-changing one, and Munch the green gremlin one. #toon #fursona #bunny

A sequence illustration of my rabbit OC, Zenith, undergoing a type of cartoon transformation called Gremlinization, but instead of being turned into a hyperactive, chaotic gremlin version of himself, he is instead cloned, and that clone is the more monstrous gremlin version called Munch. It starts with Spec confronted with someone (who is off screen) pointing a "Gremlinization Raygun" at him while Spec pleads "Hold on Mac! I’m already a Full Toon. You Don’t know what that thing could unleash!" He is hit with the ray and spits between himself and wilder looking green rabbit. The shooter is confused with the results. The green rabbit Munch looks at him with devilish intent. He bites the person as he grabs for the gremlin gun. Spec quietly leaves the scenes while addressing the person "I tried to warn yeah mac." Munch then jumps in front of where the audience's screen would be and licking while wild abandon. He points a charging raygun at the viewer, saying "YOU NEXT". The concept of Gremlinization was created by Ignri on Furaffinity.

Wait, that's not right. Must have had the setting set to clone. What have we unleashed, though?

A sequence illustration of my dragon OC, Zenith, undergoing a type of cartoon transformation called Gremlinization, where he is turned into a smaller and more hyperactive, chaotic gremlin version of himself. It starts with him in a lab labeled "Gremlinization Chamber". He is impressed by the cleanliness of the place ("Wow! I've never seen a place this clean before.") He accidentally pulls a switch he was leaning on, which brings down a laser beam that zaps him into a small cartoony version of himself with sharper edges and more saturated colors. After coming out of a daze, he proceeds to randomly paint the room with an oversized paintbrush, speaking to the audience in broken grammar "I'm ah Artist. Want yours Faces Painted!" The concept of Gremlinization was created by Ignri on Furaffinity.

Feeling a little....Silly. A little... ZANY!

I don't think I'd ever be able to afford a fursuit or have the energy to go out to conventions in a way that puts a spotlight on myself. I still find it so much fun with people who do have a knack for it and put in a lot of work and heart into it. ❤️

After a long struggle, his tail finally won the battle with his pants, tearing the garment to shreds. A proud mixed-brown tail wagged high above his fuzzy rear as the dog-boy’s muzzle gnashed happily into the pile of kibble, sending crumbs flying from his favorite bowl. His human always said it was his favorite bowl. The couch continued to compress under him, its top reshaping into a light, fuzzy white texture—losing its form and becoming a soft, uniform dog bed. On the human table, his bhone lost its nuance as well, now adopting the simple white plastic form of a classic chew toy—the same design that circled Jerry’s bowl. Jerry liked eating from Jerry’s favorite bowl. The fur continued across his body, and each inch of growth sent euphoric shivers across Jerry’s mind. His paws tapped idly at the floor, the sensation of his thickening pads pressing against the rug too satisfying to ignore. For Jerry, it was the simple pleasures that mattered now. Like this kibble. This kibble from his favorite bowl was the best thing. His flat tongue played with the food pile, eager to scoop as much of it as possible into his snout. His head tilted at the sound. Keys. Owner. Jerry sprawled himself across the couch, finally enjoying some time to himself after the most hectic week he’d had in a long time. It was nice to finally take some time to do nothing in his empty apartment—leaving his phone on the nearby table and just munching on snacks, savoring each bite as he mindlessly fished for the next nicest chip in the big round bowl he had filled up. This was nice—meditative, almost. In a passing thought, he wondered if this was what it felt like for a pet to be left home alone, just existing in a comfortable space. - Story written by @roscotf.bsky.social

Then it hit him—or rather, brushed against his fingers. The sensation of some foreign, round objects mixed among the chips made his arm lurch backwards, his other fist gripping the chips in hand with a brutal force. The big bowl he’d been eating from fell off the couch to the floor, but he couldn’t tell in the moment if it had been knocked by his motion, or if it was simply moving itself to a more correct position. Either way, the bowl now held a strange new energy, marked with a ring of bones around its circumference as it tumbled from the couch and out of Jerry’s vision. - Story written by @roscotf.bsky.social

Jerry shifted uncomfortably in his shirt, which was tightening around the collar and fizzling out of reality everywhere else, flaking away like dust in the wind. The exposed skin was now tickled by sprouts of dark brown and patchy white fur. His nose had begun to tingle, and looking down, he could see why: it was discolored, and bulging into his field of vision. His ears, too, felt a tingling pull—and he could only imagine a similar, putty-like stretching was happening to them. As he adjusted his shifting center of weight on the cushion, his mind didn’t trigger any panic or fear. Instead, he remained focused on the bowl, now flattened against the floor. The entire contents had transformed into a pile of brown, dry kibble. Yet the sight didn’t deter Jerry’s attention. In fact, the aroma wafted heavily into his darkening, puffing nose, distracting him from noticing how his arms and legs were being overtaken by fur and his fingertips tipped with thickening claws. - Story written by @roscotf.bsky.social

The excitement of digging in spun around his restructuring mind, and his twitching tail certainly showed that. It tugged and whipped against his constrictive pants, struggling against the fabric and bunching up, tickling his rear with more and more fur as each growth spurt hit it. Jerry began to place his front legs at the edge of the couch, moving toward the floor-bound bowl with a curious eagerness. His mouth stayed slightly open, his dopey smile stretching across his face to match the long muzzle now forming around it. Saliva pooled in his mouth with every canine sniff, and his solidified collar—now marked “Jerry”— jingled as he placed his front paws on either side of the dish. At this height, he couldn’t see his phone anymore. It had started pinching inward, reshaping itself safely out of reach—unless his roomate-ner… roomawner… his… owner? got it for him.
