The current story takes place at a parody of Folsom Street Fair that’s attacked by a self-righteous family values Sentai team that crashes the International Mr Palooka competition, Iris has such a big brain.

Sybil Throat is madcap evil supervillain sex comedy on par with Oglaf in terms of “this is genuinely hilarious and also extremely inappropriate to read on the bus” and I like it a lot. One of the comics ends with the Luxor hotel having sex with the Washington monument, it’s insane.

Think of it like when a musician performs under two different names! ALL the stuff I self-publish, however, will be on these Patreon and Subscribestar blogs.

PLUS: I also think sex is a fascinating and integral component of the human experience, and I strive to make the stories I tell about it as fun, weird and emotionally resonant as anything else I make. It's ALL worth reading! So don't tell me to shut up!! I'll get louder!!!

Even the stuff I make without sex in it is intended for adults and deals with mature themes-- queer actualization, tech industry corruption, class conflict, etc. I've read some great YA comics in my time, but the child to teen demographic isn't my bag.

Not to mention, in our current censorious political climate (where, apparently, depictions of transgender people AT ALL can be considered pornography), I resent the idea that I should be lopping off parts of my artistic output to make it more "acceptable". I'm an adult! I make comics for adults!

Last week's health scare made me realize how much I was tearing myself apart trying to keep two blogs simultaneously updated. I'm as proud of the stuff I do as D.Egg as anything I do as Iris Jay, and I've been making smut AS Iris Jay for years now, so dividing my career feels superfluous.

YEAH THIS TOO. if i were assassinating someone (WHICH I DO NOT PLAN TO DO), i feel like i would be more than willing to sacrifice symbolic payload for actually making sure the bullets i was using did their damn jobs

i'm just saying, i'm looking at this photo Kash Patel posted of the bullets from today's thing and that LOOKS like blue ballpoint pen. that feels inherently more slapdash than an "engraving". idk, it's a totally frivolous and irrelevant point, but i think words should mean things

do they do it themselves with a dremel or something? that's like a TINY canvas, though. maybe they just take it to the guy at the mall kiosk who writes people's names on a grain of rice? to say nothing of, like, how do they keep the bullet from blowing up in their hands?
