In regard to the violent attack in #Boulder Notes of Dissent would like to come out and express our sadness. Violence is not welcome. Notes of Dissent will always support Palestine and oppose the genocide of Palestinians.
One of our goals is to denounce Israel's actions while opposing antisemitism.

Despite a colorado law that prohibits ice detentions in or near courthouses, immigration agents have begun abducting immigrants at the Denver Immigration Court." There are images of ice agents and images of protestors throughout the slides.

The second slide reads "Despite colorado state law prohibiting immigration agents from detaining people in or near courthouses, plain-clothed ice agents abducted immigrants at the denver immigration court twice last week. Ice detained a father, mother, ans their one year old last Thursday- the first known arrest of a family inside a courthouse in colorado. The family exited the courtroom with a dismissal of removal order in hand, which would have allowed them to legally remain in the country until further proceedings. That's when six unidentified ice agents ushered the family away. They are now being held at an out-of-state 'family detention center.'"

The third slide reads "ICE also detained a father who showed up for a hearing at the courthouse last week, leaving his 12 year old child to find for himself. This is a clear violation of immigrants' due process rights and signals a major escalation in Trump's attacks on immigrants in Colorado. These arrests set a dangerous precedent for people who continue to engage with the immigrant process in good faith. Immigrants with no criminal records, people with no legal representation, and asylum seekers who show up to court for procedural check-ins now face the threat of ice detention and Deportation in colorado."

The final slide reads "in the face of this deliberate attempt to terrorize our communities, the people of colorado will continue to stand with and fight for immigrants. Ice out or colorado!"
