i missed a few

a grey tabby cat on top of a rumpled purple and white knit blanket on a bed. he isn’t curled up or a loaf. just sort of a blob.

this is a “FINE THEN.” kind of deal

i watched the first half of possession and am have been stitching down the facing on the sunflower quilt. cat: happy i’m in the bedroom, annoyed that a) i’m not in bed and b) he can’t get in my lap.

i’m not better! i just had the time and inclination! the things i’m doing aren’t as big as finishing a whole top. (acab includes the quilt police inside your own head! you can do it and it’ll be great.)

So I saw this dog painting going around as a meme and, me being me, I tracked down the source. Giovanna Garzoni (1600-1670), a woman painter who did kickass still life.
