I don't agree. I'm talking about the form of performance here, and it has nothing to do with the content. I've seen radiohead 3 times and each time was set up so they could see each other.

I mean Philip Selway has his back to Thom Yorke. I think that is insane!

I get that. However I think it is very weird and antithetical to the whole concept of playing a live show. I am making this observation as someone who spent his 20's and 30's touring the world playing thousands of shows with dozens of different bands. It radically changes the dynamics on stage.

I find Radiohead’s stage setup perplexing. Each member is in their own bubble with their back to the others. As a musician, performing live, the visual is just as important as the aural. I guess this is mirror of how culture works now.
